For this project, my idea came from the enclosed space of staircase in Columbus building of SAIC’s campus. I wanted to break the space by creating an opening that opens up another reality. Inspired by Doug Wheeler and Olafur Eliasson, I created a space that reflects and diffuses light to form an illusion of infinity behind the frame on the wall.
